## When to use Feature Prioritisation Matrix

Use it when a team has more feature ideas than capacity and needs a fair, visible way to compare them. It is useful before roadmap planning, when shaping a discovery queue or when competing requests are arriving with different claims about value and cost.

Set the decision boundary, bring evidence and state who owns the final call. The matrix supports judgement; it does not make uncertain estimates magically objective.

## The 60-minute format

### Round Robin: 20 minutes

Each participant contributes concrete feature options, expected user and business value, and delivery trade-offs. Structured turns make space for quieter voices and create comparable input for the map.

### Impact Effort Map: 30 minutes

The group assesses each candidate by expected impact and implementation effort. Clarvelo keeps the shared definitions visible, captures assumptions and disagreement, and identifies the high-impact, lower-effort options worth considering first.

### Blind Vote: 10 minutes

Participants privately vote for the options that create the strongest user and business value. Votes appear together, reducing anchoring by seniority, confidence or speaking order. The output records the selected direction and current rationale.
