How many features should we bring?
A focused shortlist works better than an entire backlog. Bring the options that genuinely compete for attention in the planning period.
Do we need exact effort estimates?
No. Use a consistent relative scale and record important uncertainty. If the group cannot place an option with reasonable confidence, send it to discovery before committing.
Does the highest-voted feature automatically win?
The vote shows the group’s independent judgment. The final decision should still respect dependencies, strategy and whoever owns the roadmap call.
